rognvald,

Okay weather for polar bears, I guess.

Here*, it is forecast to attain 70 deg. F. (24 d. C), light, variable to 10.

*Eden, New South Wales, Australia

We feel your pain.

Ann,
It is said that the effects of cold have a numbing effect on the brain. I suppose that's why I'm still in Chicago. Good luck and great weather! Capt. Rognvald, a captive of cryogenics.

Bob,
In regards to the 5-6 second period, I think Hamlet said it best in his famous soliloquy:

"Ay, there's the rub."

Good luck and good sailing.
