2009 Sailing Season Is Finished for Me

I am still living on the boat and will stay aboard until my water tank is empty. The ice is on the lake and the jump from the dock to the boat is getting harder to do but I am a diehard.

For all in the north, may your winter be short and mild, your pipes not freeze, your furnaces be reliable and your boats stay safe a secure on their hard mounts.

And there there's today's snow storm. Apparently it was mild at my house, only 10 inches. Man I hate this crap!

Went down to the river yesterday for the weekly winter boat fix:

cover secured
Bilge dry
blowers running (I rig blowers on a timer to circulate air over the winter)

See you next week.

Fear not for the shortest day is upon us and from this day hence, the Sun shall begin its return to warm our skins and souls. Unless of course your down under.
