This unit was recently obtained from a various lot at an estate sale and found to be in very good cosmetic condition. Comes with everything shown in photos including remote, owner's handbook and various pieces of hardware.

Unsure how to test for power - if anyone knows a way to test, please let me know.

Anything in the box? External compass?

To test for power plug the unit into the receptical and hook up the red and black wires on the back side of the receptical to a battery... Even if it powers up the compass could be bad etc... I think you are way high $$$ for something that may or may not work
