Old turnbuckles for Free

I just re-rigged our boat and have these old turnbuckles left over that are anyone's if they want them. I figured they could be used for something or a smaller rig. I figured I'd give them a chance for a new home before going to scrap. They are in decent shape, a good brass wire wheel would clean them up nicely. Tape and grease residue is on them still.

They are 3/4" and 5/8" turnbuckles and clevis pins..

You just pay for shipping and I'll mail them off.

Why would anyone install old turnbuckles on a boat? Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I wouldn't bet my life or my family's on important items that hold the mast up.

Maybe I would use them to install wire guard rails around my terrace if I didn't have too far to fall.

Well, sometimes old unworn parts are better than new quality. And spares don't hurt to have.
I'd take them also. More than one use comes to mind.

Hey John, I'm having delays as well. My wife has USCG classes this week and she has our truck so Haven't been able to get to the UPS store yet. Though from shipping other random marine bits I doubt it will be more than $20-25. I'll get to this as soon as I have our vehicle back in the same city. (: Also, I think I have two more 3/4 turnbuckles around here somewhere, just need to find them so I can add to the bunch.
