McMurdo M10 AIS SmartFind Class B Transponder

For sale - used McMurdo M10 SmartFind Class B Transponder, GPS and power/data cable, working, removed from a friend's boat. I debated whether to install on our boat, but decided I'd prefer the wireless network model. I've tested the unit and as you can see by the attached photos, it is working well.

Prior to shipping, I will have the unit programmed (at my cost) with your MMSI number and boat information. The MMSI number can only be programmed by McMurdo partners using a special utility. Online partners charge $40 + shipping for this service. Except for the MMSI number, you can set the boat settings and NMEA input/output ports, using the AIS configuration tool.

Included,
McMurdo M10 Transponder, Serial Number = 21-205-000133, Firmware version: V1.2.6.2
Portable GPS Antenna BY-GPS-07
Power / Data Cable

Available via email or download

The McMurdo M10W SmartFind AIS Class B transponder transmits vessel position information as well as receiving all AIS targets. Using the built-in GPS receiver, the SmartFind M10 determines position, speed and course, and once this is combined with other navigational information, it is automatically transmitted without any user interaction. When received by other vessels and coast stations, the data built up to provide a live graphical display of traffic in the area.

Supports 2 NMEA 0183 input/output ports.

Multiplexes NMEA and AIS data

USB port for connecting to your PC

Supports SD card for data logging

Low power consumption

As you can see from the pictures, the AIS transmits our position and AIS targets can be viewed on your computer.

Thank you for your interest!
