Heel taper

I'm looking for my Grandfathers old boat. I don't know much about the make of the boat other than he sailed it from France to SC. when he passed away it was sold in the early 80's. It was kept in the Hilton head area and the boats name was the Heel Taper. Would be awesome to know if the boat is still out there, maybe see a picture of it. Any info any one might have would be a big help trying to track this boat down. I would assume the boat was built in the 60 or 70 would be an old boat by now but my memory's of the boat, it was a beautiful boat in the 80's

Re: Heel taper

If you can find pictures of it, that might help you find out the make. Maybe look for any other paperwork on it that could give you a hull #. Perhaps your folks have some of that stuff somewhere. If it was registered with USCG ever, that might further your search. Good luck!
