Is the taper on the shaft of a
steering
wheel
an industry standard ?
Do all tapered shafts and wheels have the same taper ?
If so what are the taper dimensions ?

lots of different tapers out there!
check barton,vetus,lewmar,edson,whitlock spec's are online on their websites
cost me £150 to get an adaptor machined when I had to replace my
helm
pump!!!!
