I am interested. Looks like a color MFD radar and power supply. Is anything else needed (other than charts) to get this working? How about cables?

I believe it's a 10m cable. New as part of the radar. Yes its color.

This a quality unit. To get the most out of the radar you'll want a good heading source, like the furuno pg700.

I have a nexus compass/heading unit connected to an NMEA0183 network (also gps etc.). Will this work with the Furuno equipment?

I have an NMEA2000 Network also so presumably it would pick up heading from that..

It should work fine. You need a fairly fast update to stabilize the radar and use the Arpa features well. You may be able to set the update rate on the nexus.
Without it the basic unit will work fine, you just don't get some of the better features.
