Dock or Mooring in Boston

We are going to be in Boston sometime early next week, and are looking to rent a mooring or a Dock for our 53 foot sailboat (draft is 6.7 feet, beam is 15.25 feet). Close to downtown would be best.

Thanks,
Duane

Duane,

We were in Boston on our Super Maramu last summer. We stayed on the moorings at the Boston Harbor Sailing School. Inexpensive, right downtown, off the Aquarium, plenty of depth, free taxi to dock. Tight swinging room for an SM, but they'll work with you to make sure it works.

Check with Boston Sailing Center, also downtown, near North End.

I’m not using my mooring in Winthrop. It’s a bit noisy due to Logan airport, but it’s a big’un and it’s right off the ferry pier that will take you to the aquarium in 30min

Bill,

Thanks for the recommendation. We took a mooring at BHSC, all is well.
