I am a retired federal inspector who had experience selling and shipping to and from from French Polynesia Tahiti. I shipped a couple of marine transmissions to a boat supply company there. Forms were easy once I understood the proforma invoice process. US Customs was very helpful. Tocores was my customer in FP. They posted the money to our company bank in USA and all was smooth as silk. US Customs was helpful. International forms tend to be automated now to ease, so on electronics that are damaged, they have no value. There is (no) import duty to USA. Since the property is to be shipped back to FP there should also be no duty. Very simple through US Customs. I suggest you contact Tacores in Papayete and use them to assist or follow their advice. Hope you find this helps. Forms are available on line and in multiple languages. Another person to contact - those that handle the fresh tuna shipped to global market... Perkins and BW. Ben

Would love to hear you go on and on about your Amel. I suppose you are flying back to Georgia, but if you're going to be near us (we're just across the river from Cincinnati, OH) let me know and we can have a coffee together.
