Chrome chain stopper

I have a beautiful chrome Maxwell chain stopper for 8mm (5/16”) chain. It is almost flawless condition and priced in Defender at $185.00. My price is $80.00 plus shipping from Orlando, Florida.

Re: Chrome chain stopper

What's the lift mechanisim for the pawl, if any? And any chances of getting a pic of same? Also, what sized fasteners does it take, & what's the stopper's part #?
Thanks

Re: Chrome chain stopper

The pawl swivels by gravity and can be pivoted either way round by pulling the pin. The Defender part number is P104472. I think the fasteners are 3/8” countersunk. It’s a heavy piece. Can't do a photo at the moment, I don't have it with me.
