Aluminum Hull Dinghy 10'

I have an AB Lammina 10AL 10'6" Aluminum Hull Dingy for sale. Boat has a double floor, locking compartment in bow with cushion, removable middle seat and two oars. I have the repair kit and a lifting bridle for it. The boat is in good shape although has some minor stains and scuffs from two years of cruising. It is rated for 5 persons, 825 pounds and a 20 hp outboard. We ran her with a 9.9 hp which was plenty. In the photos you will see the bottom is coated with light blue anti-foul paint.

This boat easily fits two people plus a large dog and/or groceries and gear. Or two people and scuba gear, or three people with snorkel and/or fishing gear. It would be great for a family with small children. (After a two day deluge rain in the Bahamas she even served as a washing machine. Add a tiny bit of biodegradable soap and stomp around on the dirty clothes for a bit...)

I have the 9.9 hp 4-stroke Honda outboard with optional electric start that we ran on her as well.

I am asking $2500 for the dingy and $450 for the motor but will entertain all reasonable offers. Please email me at ahw1455@gmail.com or call 843-986-8786.

Area code is South Carolina?
I just paid well over twice her asking price for a 10al. Where were you then?

I am guessing that you paid $1800 for a roll up dingy with aluminum floor, not a RIB aluminum rigid inflatable? Big difference in performance and planing speed. If not where did you get it?

My AB replaced a Zodiac that was falling apart and three years old, actually it had been falling apart and I had been re glueing it, but it had gotten out of control, it was bad enough that an expected it to literally come unglued with us in it. Perhaps it was just a lemon.
I hope you have better luck with yours. If not I have learned that the best thing to do if possible is to take it to Zodiac USA, which is in Ft Lauderdale if possible.

However a small Zodiac and an AB are not at all the same quality Boat. I’ve owned both.

I have heard, but do not know that larger Zodiacs are still excellent boats.

If anyone is interested list price for this boat is over $6,000, Defender gets I think a little over $5,700 and they are usually a good price.

re: Aluminum Hull Dinghy 10'

Sorry for the late reply. I was blocked for a few days because I am new to the forum. We bought the dingy in Rhode Island in 2012 for $4900. Cruised the East Coast and Bahamas for 2 years during which time she was in the water, thus the light blue bottom paint, or stored covered on deck during passage. We kept her coated with a product called Aerospace 409.
