Ft. Lauderdale Dockage

Hi: We are currently working our way south heading for Ft. Lauderdale.
I'd like to find a slip or a dock behind someones home where we can liveaboard for a month while I prep and provision before crossing to the Bahamas. Any help appreciated.

Bruno's Zoo at the end of Hendricks is very kewl with a great view. He has about 10 slips, one of the last places to liveaboard. You won't find a private residence to liveaboard, if caught the home owner is find big time.

Coconut Grove Sailing Club in South Miami, www.CGSC.org, is a better spot, cheaper and a better place to head east from.
