Question Berthing in the Caribbean or Latin America

After cruising for a year from the Seychelles to the Caribbean I will be looking for a marina to 'park' my catamaran for a year or so.

Does anyone know a good marina for long term berthing in the southern Caribbean or Latin America? Outside the hurricane belt ... Is Venezuela a good place to look for it?

Lots of cruisers sit out the hurricane season on the 'Rio Dulce' River in Guatemala.
Should be other cruiser available to 'boat-sit' while you're gone.
Regards,
Gord

Marinas Venezuela

Hi Gisle,

You can try PMO (proyectos Marinos Orientales) in Puerto la Cruz. It used to be called CMO (Centro Marino de Oriente) they have a large storage on Dry.
Fair wind,

Try Harbour village marina on Bonaire. Safe, secure, below hurricane belt, reasonably priced, etc. Check out Curacao as well.

Thumbs up maintenance

as well as being safe are these anchorages/dry docks capable and reasonable ($ ) for minor repairs. What would be reasonable per month for a 42' mono to stay for 3-4 months. Around the Panama area any suggestions to get ready for a Pacific cruise next year?

tks all
