vibration at higher rpm -

Took the boat out for a little daysailing today in light winds. There was enough to shut the engine down after a slow run out of the channel. Once out a ways, the winds died and I started the engine up.

Running along at about 1800 RPM, everything was pretty smooth. Once I bumped to 2200 though, there was a definite vibration. Looking at my packing gland, everything looks in good shape. About 10 drops per minute, so not too tight.

Either the cutlass bearing, or prop...

How hard is it to change the bearing under water? I am not sure that it is the problem, but I want to have an idea of what is involved should it come to that.
