tank baffles

your thoughts on water tanks baffles?

im at the point where i need to finish up the water tanks on this build. four 40 gallon roughly 20x24 triangles integral to the hull and under the setees. i like the idea of filling the tanks with giant wiffle balls but cant find any in food grade plastic. i like the idea of attaching traditional X-shaped baffles to the underside of the lid to make periodic cleaning of the tank easier. but i also like the hull reinforcement that comes from glassed-in baffles. or some sort of copper mesh or perforated copper sheet?

any other ideas?

I'm not sure baffles will be necessary in tanks this size.
