Poncin Molds Giveaway

French boatbuilder Groupe Poncin Yachts is giving away a complete set of moulds for the Dynamic 110' (designed by Philippe Briand). The boatbuilder is looking to expand its facilities and no longer has room for the moulds.

"We need more space to face the increase of production for the Harmony range (we should reach 180 units this year against less than 100 last year) and to take the production of Seahawk ribs (a new sister brand of White Shark/Kelt) as well as moulds and toolings - we have a 18 m long 5 axis CNC machine - for the next Catana catamarans," according to the company's new director of marketing and development, Serge Paillard . "We need to extend the buildings and this 110' sitting there is not helping! We either need to cut the set of moulds into pieces or we give it away."

180 boats next year just for them. Where are all these new boats being built this year going to dock. I can't even find a slip over here on the other side of the world.

It's not the price of boats going up but where to put them all.............._/)
