Non-Boaty FRP projects!

I .... like some of ya out there have a continual surplus of glass and resin simply hanging around...

Epoxy is great, as you don't much have to worry about shelf life... But the polyesters are simply trash can filler if you don't utilize them!

More often than not... The phrase can be heard around here...

"Hey... Next time you mix up some resin, can you take a look at this too?"

And without further adieu... A couple recent Happy Projects...

I'm missing all of my "before pics"!

Problem:
"Somebody's favorite hairbrush" split right down the middle...

Solution:
Layup Schedule=
(2) 1708 Biax
Pirate Girl print
Couple ounces polyester laminating resin

Polish

I ain't Potter hip...

But apparently wands do better reinforced with a little Kevlar tape...
(and happy to rid myself of the Evil Aramid!)
