DIY sewing

I bought a Sailrite and am having a blast with it. It's pretty easy once you get through making beginners mistakes. It takes time, though and that's why the prices are as high as they are. As mentioned in a previous post... the differences in details can reflect significantly on the cost. Another couple of factors affecting cost are the measuring and the final adjustments.
BTW: If it's just the thread going on your top, why not have it re-sewn?
