Question Deck-Stepped Mast Shifted Forward

Hi, all,
I have a deck stepped aluminium mast on my Cheoy Lee Luders 36 sloop.
After a few turbulent transits along Long Island Sound I see the mast foot has shifted forward in the step and the foam/rubber(?) wedges/donut has been pushed up and out a bit above the 3" high steel partner. The mast has shifted about 1 1/2 inches forward.
I suspect loose rigging allowed the mast to shift. Will I need to have the stick pulled or at least reseated with the help of a yard/crane?

thanks!

Best advice I can think of is hire a qualified rigger and follow his advice.

Definitely hire a pro rigger unless you feel competent. Masts have been known to jump out of the deck fitting and, well, you know the end.

Check it, fix it.
