damage due to electronic antifouling?

Just slipped our steel yacht to find many electrolysis type blisters and a lot of green copper oxide on hull. Worse on Starboard side. Also prop is corroded. We've been boating for many years and not seen this before.
Now we find that the boat next to us, on our starboard side in the marina has an electronic antifouling device that uses copper anodes to generate a "copper ion cloud" around his boat.

Has anyone experienced problems of this kind? Would be grateful for any info or examples of problems caused by electronic antifouling.

This is our first post so hope we got it right. Thanks to all for your help.

Couldn't say for sure,,but it's logical that sea water would act as an electrolyte especially with copper nearby and a generated electric current.
He's the Cathode and your the Anode in this case.

It will be interesting to see how the science plays out on these devices,,if it's how i think it will go,,there could be a lot of claims for damages from people just like yourself.
