Any Ideas What This Is?

That's where you store your valuables.
Really if no one, even boaters don't know what it's for.
Then it's a stash.
Like those oil cans with false bottoms.👍

Clearly, it's a Flux Capacitor!

That makes NO sense. You could never get this boat to go fast enough to make it work.

Fuel tank vent fuel collector?

If it is it provides some volume for vented fuel to collect and drain back rather than spew out of the vent.

May have been installed to reduce vent spitting during filling. May also help to stop vent spitting when fuel is sloshing in a non baffled tank.

Where do the hoses go and come from?

As per notiesbob in post #23, Navtec hydraulic fluid reservoir

They were C&C option. The hydraulic system is self contained with no electricity. Basically a fancy hydraulic jack. That tank IS NOT a diesel fuel tank and it is definitely not a speaker. The wires are not related.

Is this a CF test? You have this boat in offshore sailing school in BC

Oh yeah??? Down in our bilge somewhere we have a Xfntght model 12 flux capacitor that I bought in a swap meet on Jupiter, and it looks JUST like that thing!

BTW, does anyone here on CF have an owners manual for that model? I can't work out how to hook it up...

Now you have big problems, How the heck are you going to get the fuel out of the hydraulic lines and how did it get in there? ; )

Well it is fun, and I was hoping it was the dispenser for the secret (and full) 1,000 gallon rum tank.

Then I could have visited to sample the contents . . . .

No such luck though (I've had to finish off my last bit of home made Sambuca instead).

Okay, ya caught me. You didn't think I'd just give away the real manual did you?
