Interesting to note that they say "If the vessel is in commission for 6-7 months one application is normally sufficient; this depends on local conditions and you may need to coat more frequently."

That doesn't come close to the useful life of Propspeed, and the stuff would be of little use to most cruisers.

Too bad, for the price isn't quite as bad as Propspeed, and the application is simple... but the boat must be slipped to do it.

Many years ago, in my ill spent youth, I raced hydroplanes. The propellers were made of steel that would rust between races. I started coating the prop with Never-Seez after each day of racing. When the boat would come out of the water after the next day of racing, there was still a thin coat of the grease on the prop. The boat had been going close to 100 mph and I can't remember how many thousand rpm the prop was spinning but it was a lot. Years later I thought this might be a good way to keep growth off my slow turning propeller. I coated my prop with Never-Seez during a haul out. I dove on it a few months later and there was no grease left on the prop. I don't think grease is the answer.

Some of the original "anti-fouling" grease was simply zinc oxide lotion like what you put on a baby's bottom. I tried it, didn't work on the boat prop or the baby very well.
