Westerbeke 46 rear seal

Ahh! Makes sense. We are in the same boat so to speak. I'm trying to decide if I want to rebuild the W46 or repower with a Beta. The W46 runs fine at the moment, but I don't want to deal with a bunch of nagging problems in the future when cruising. A pro rebuild is getting close to the price of a re-power, so I'd likely DIY if I go that route.

Starts, runs, took the opportunity to put a new starter on, clean the exchanger, check out the water mixer elbow, replaced some old hose, alignment, new seals on transmission, new damper plate, all new oil seals all around, new oil and filter, fixed some wiring on the old harness, washed and waxed!
