Westerbeke 42B transmission

I want to service my tranny on my Westerbeke 42B. The shop manual says it uses a variety of transmissions and to contact the tranny manufacture for servicing data. It appears to have oil in it not tranny fluid. I am thinking 90 weight but I'm not sure. Does anyone have an idea on the manufacturer of this tranny

It’s made by ZF.

Here’s the workshop manual

http://earlhill.de/files/ZF_BW7_Workshop_Manual.pdf

It uses sae 20 or 30, cc or cd.

Thanks so much!! Now I have all shop manuals for my powertrain. I guess both CC an CD designated oil are obsolete so it looks like the replacement is CH-4 or Ci-4. Any thoughts? 20wt may be hard to find but 30 shouldn't be a problem

Ch or Ci should cover all of the properties of CC or CD

Thank you again sailmonkey. I am having a problem locating 20 wt but I do have 2 quarts of old CF 30 wt on board and it looks like I can use that if all other searches fail.
