How to clean mixing elbow

Hi, I removed my mixing elbow on my Yanmar 3jh2-tce, the turbo is off at the mechanics being honed, but I noticed that my mixing elbows are also dirty. How do I clean them?

EZ Off oven cleaner. Not the "green" stuff, the nasty real stuff. Works AMAZINGLY well on them, and turbos too.
