Hi, am new here and need some advice on changing over to a diesel from an atomic 4. The boat is a ericson 35 with the atomic 4 under the seat near the centre of the boat. I was planning on a new universal 30-35 hp. Thanks Tom

wow--is going to be a big change-- there is spozedly a universal that allegedly bolts into same place---my 35mII has yanmar 2 qm 20h--shoehorned into the engine room under companionway steps.... keep us posted with your upgrades. these are truly lovely boats.

not vee..is direct an yannie tranny, whatevr they used-i love it in that boat.
