Detroit 12v 71 exhaust removal advice

I need to remove the exhaust system from my Detroit Diesel12v 71. Looking for tips and advice on how to get the old hoses off too.

Cut and replace.

The heat will harden, and forever make them hard against leak proof.

You can use a heat gun, as an emergency re-fit, but. I would never depend on them for sea service.

+1

If you can even get them off of the fittings in one piece you're luckier than I.
