Best Prices on Impellers

Can anyone suggest the place to buy replacement impellers for my 4.108?

Perhaps be more concerned with where it is made. One premature failure can ruin an engine=ruining your day!

Re: Best Prices on Impellers

Would replace with the original Jabsco impeller but price 50-$60 seems like a lot

How is the price of a warped head and top end rebuild?

What the hell does that have to do with trying to find a fair price for a Jabsco impeller, where in any of my writings did I indicate that I am trying to use some aftermarket piece of Shi_T, or the wrong impeller. Just thought there might be a good outfit to go to buy the part I need without a massive markup.

$50-60 seems very high. Are you sure you weren't sourcing a kit of some sorts and not just the impeller? Try Depcopump.com

Re: Best Prices on Impellers

I went and looked it up in the Jabsco catalog. It looks like your Perkins 4.108 uses a 1210-0001 impeller. I sell them for $27.95.

Re: Best Prices on Impellers

Just realized that the spare impellers I have are the wrong size and sent from my Perkins dealer over three years ago, they want me to provide them with the correct Perkins part number for the Jabsco impeller indicating they can't cross reference the part number.

I'm just saying, be careful, there is a lot of junk out there.

Re: Best Prices on Impellers

a number similar to "1210-xxxx" should be stamped on the top of the cover plate. That will help you get the right one. Yeah, $50 is way too much.
