Wet Refrigeration Insulation

I have a Lagoon 410, hull # 69 / 2000 yr. model. The insulation around my refrig./freezer has become wet and is impacting the thermal qualities of my system. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and been able to resolve it without removing the existing insuation ?

Thanks,

Chuck

Outside of parking the boat unused in a desert for a few years, I don't see any other option besides get brave and rip it out. Even if you did the above, what would prevent a repeat of the problem?

Find out why it happened.
