Sailing toFort Jefferrson in the Keys

Hey All

We will be sailing to the Dry Tortogus on Oct 25th thru Oct 31
There will be several boats going and all are invited with your boat or boats .
This should be a fun trip .
Any question just drop me a line

Thanks

Re: Sailing toFort Jefferrson in the Keys

The DT is a great place to visit. We were there all last week, returned to Port Charlotte on Thursday. A great visit, very helpful and informative NPS personnel, particularly Neil (sp?) in the book store and Ranger Adam. We were blown away by the measures Neil (sp?) went to in order to assist with a Yanmar starter that had to be shipped in from Key West on the float plane. The Yankee Freedom is a very welcome respite from the heat for lunch every day if you are in the anchorage as well as ice. The skipper of Yankee Freedom was more than willing to share chart info on diving, fishing spots etc.
