Rogers 34

I am looking at a rogers 34 it seems a prety non production finished boat from Australia I must admit it is OK but dont like the idea of Glass over ply type construction what do you think of that I always liked the idea of solid glass below the water line. This boat is a good boat but for this and possibly the rear births that might get a bit hot. Here is a link to the boat..

Re: Rogers 34

I think that the rogers is a pretty good thing, most were semi production built, ie hull and decks done then owner fitted out. I think its worth a look and that its also worth getting Geoff Cruse to survey it. Nothing wrong with glass over ply, if done right, there are bucket loads of boats that are f\glass over balsa out there - which would be way more concerning, and they mostly seem to manage.
