The other boat that made the cut was the Privilege Serie 5, but I haven't many comments on that boat. The price of a new Privilege 5 is about $250k above the Antares, but the 2014 model at the show was closer in price.

In the end, I opted for the Antares and wrote the check to secure an early 2018 slot, but I still have thoughts of the Privilege lingering. I would like to hear more opinions on the Privilege.
Congrats on the Antares, don't think you will regret it. I have looked at a few cats, and kept coming back to the Antares.

I am hoping to secure a 2019 slot soon!

We were at the Miami show and my wife and I fell in love with the lagoon 450F it was nice and roomy and we are planning to charter our boat out as a honeymooner boat. But that's a few years out yet. I'm working on my 100 ton lic. And she is working on her Fine foods and presentation.

Thanks for your thoughts.

You briefly mention the FP40 (I presume the new Lucia 40) - what did you like (and not like) about it? It looks great to me given what I've seen on the FP Web site but I haven't seen a "real" one yet.

I'll probably be looking for something else second-hand (i.e. cheaper) in a year or two unless I win the lottery in the meantime :-).
