Looking for an affordable cat?

If you, or a friend, are looking for a mid-forties sized cruising cat, located in Fla. USA... then I have a classified ad for you:

K. Hughes designed 46' custom cruising cat. 46'x24'x3'6''-6' (centerboards).
Launched 1999. Cold molded/composite construction, WEST epoxy throughout. Sloop rigged (2 roller jibs). Twin sail-drive Yanmar GM30 diesels. Offshore proven, Islands/Great Lakes tested. On the hard near Stuart, Fl. ...Serious Inquiries only.... Private message me here. ...Hate to do it, but the Mrs. says "SELL !"
Sacrifice for $50 K (includes 12' RIB and motor).

I'm not saying that this boat is a scam but it sure all has the makings of one. Few pics, few details, won't communicate by PM and wants your email posted publicly on the forum where anyone on the web can now see it. I advise everyone to use caution.

I agree that it does appear that way. I gave him a throw away email address so I will update this thread if it turns out this is a scam.

Could be, or it could be a killer deal on a nice cat. It sold about 3 years ago in the Bahamas, so the boat isn’t a figment of the internet imagination.
