Lacing material trampolines?

What have you been using as lacing material to attach your trampolines?

Dyneema single braid?
Dyneema double braid?
Polyester double braid?

...and what dimension?

Re: Lacing material trampolines?

I used dyneema double braid in 3mm black. I chose it after talking to people on here because it had almost no stretch. I tied individual straps at each point, a big job because my netting had stretch, I would only use dyneema net next time.

Re: Lacing material trampolines?

There have been reports (Corsairs) of Dyneema lacing sawing through the fiberglass; it seemed natural, but this class has moved away from it.

Bear in mind that the stretch of properly sized polyester lacing, compared to the stretch of the tramp, is a rounding error. It is both stronger than the tramp and only a few inches. This is obvious.

Dyneema may last longer, but potentially at the expense of what it is attached to.

Re: Lacing material trampolines?

I used polyester double braid, 3mm. The lashings are short, and go round 3 or 4 times, so IMO stretch isn't an issue.

1/8” dyneema for me. Had polyester, squeaked terribly.

I also replaced my polyester with dyneema. I went with 1/4" because it's cheap as chips on eBay. My polyester creaked and groaned terribly and I'm still getting used to there being no noise when I step on the tramp.
