I am presently traveling in the south of France about a 2 hour drive from the Outremer factory. I emailed the general mailbox asking for help with the Goiot hatches as Goiot was no help at all, in my email I suggested that I could drive there to look at old model boats to help identify the style
That day the manager of after sales service, Stephane invited us to come to the factory. It should be noted that we are the third owners of a 2003 45.
When we got there we met Pierre who runs the brokerage for Outremer. He told us the original name of the boat helped us with a s-#$ of questions. I asked about spare rudder bearings they had them, I bought them, plastic cabinet hinges he will send them to Canada, the hatch which is no longer produced he is going to talk to an old timer on the shop floor, sliding door latch he could get it. We went down the dock and saw a couple of new and old 45s.
I f they treat someone who is not really buying anything this well I can only imagine how a purchaser is treated
I commented on their attitude and they said the treat it as a family business.
No wonder they have a long waiting list
