Dubois 60

As a tribute to one of the world’s foremost yacht designers Ed Dubois, I had a chance to take couple of pictures of the cat that he designed for a turkish guy in the bay of Marmaris. The boat was made in Antalya Turkey and launched a month ago but Ed Dubois who died in March of this year at the age of 63 couldn't see the boat in water. Interestingly, Ed was known in designing the mega yachts and racing mono's ; this was his first cat and unfortunately became the last one..

As the owner wasn't on board, I couldn't take any pics inside but the boat looks gorgeous. According to manufaturing company, the cost unfortunately is well out of my reach: a bit more than 1 mio euros with carbon mast/boom, kevlar shrouds, fully equipped..
