Ah, now I see where you are coming from.
Trimaran is different from the stern of a cat. Lot less freeboard on the Ama.
But surely a good solution for your boat (nice boat btw!!)

Thanks, but even with more freeboard, if I rigged a block/tackle I could still hoist the boat up and over. Just adapt the rig to the boat.

Absolutely agree. I used davits as an example only because they are the most prevalent.

We have neither; we curved a plastic rectangle to fit the shape of the aft beam on either side, drilled and attached lines with clips at the corners so they wrap around the beam and attach to the nets. Then we just hoist the bow of the dinghy up, centering it on the plastic and slide it up onto the trampoline - 10'6' of dinghy. I can even deflate and roll it up to stash forward on the tramp if we need more room.
