Why not just haul it up onto the netting. Also a soft bottom dink can be folded up complete and not take a lot of space. Get a 2.6HP outboard you can lift with one hand and slap it on amount in the pushpit.

Yes, inverted on the tramps. IF I'm confident of settled weather and we're just harbor-hopping I might not bother inverting it. I do pull the drain plug and tie it, however. We hoist it with the spinnaker halyard, the OB motor is stowed on the aft rail. Dragonfly 1200.
