those requirements wont really work together. The Lagoon 380 has a good sliding hatch setup that can be open or closed while at the helm, but its not a one piece roof/bimini. The L400 has one piece but a sliding hatch would be too low to the seat and block views. I dont think its possible to have both for those reasons

Unless we have misinterpreted the OP's requirements, the Antares also fails because one can see through the coachroof.

Personally, I think we have misinterpreted and the Antares, FreeFlow, etc designs are the type.

Considering its a 12M cat to be built in the desert of California, this is unlikely. Have a look at the new S49. They've got it too but with a fugly little bimini. There seems to be no perfect solution. Thanks for the ideas.

The MaineCat 41 is the boat you are looking for. It meets all your requirements. And has daggerboards, and is all vinylester in the hulls.
Then there's this one:The Grand Finale | A Boat Too Far I think Mike Reed is a member here. It's like a Gunboat/CW Atlantic.
But if you are custom designing from scratch why not put the helm and all the lines and hardware inside like the GB 55? The Voyage 450 cabriolet was like this and SailingCouple has one.
Or just buy the MC41?
