Anyone hear anything about this sighting?

Its a quick boat, even upside down. It was towed into Beaufort NC today.

Interesting. Maybe a Russian-sub rapid ascent? Reminds me of the USS Greeneville and the Ehime Maru. I wonder what the roaring sound to starboard was.
