We have an Allied Mistress 39' Ketch and a Norseman 447 (44 foot) cutter. Our previous boat was a JJ Taylor Contessa 26'.

We've been very happy with all three of these boats, all very able ocean boats.

We've become big fans of center cockpits.

Our thorougly refit Allied is for sale at:
www.svsealion.com. We'll miss her.

"Just Add Wine" is a 2003 Hunter 44' DS. Hull painted claret color, naturally! We love her!! I have noticed that not many in this thread own Hunters.

Our Boat

Our boat is a Gulfstar 39' Sailmaster. We love it and it handled the trip from Chicago to Superior Wi. on Lake Superior very well.

Mine is a Brolga 33 built in Aus in 76 now refitting with new rig, motor, tanks windows etc..similar to the S&S 34 or Hallberg Rassey Mistral 33. Known for their strong build quality. Two friends are sailing a Brolga to England via the Horn to race the Fastnet. Worth taking a look at their website at

Smile Crown 34

We have a 1978 Crown 34 built in Vancouver Canada. Strong, fast, sea-kindly (as far as we have seen!)

I have a Vancouver 27 that was built in the UK and shipped by freighter to Singapore where she was launched in 1979. I bought her in Phuket. She has never been out of Southeast Asia. I plan to change that.

1970 CAL 2-30

WELL HOW ABOUT A 1970 CAL 2-30 WITH A 5 FOOT EXTENSION ON THE STERN. I BOUGHT WIND THIEF 2 MONTHS AGO AND WOULD LOVE TO LEAVE NOW FOR MEX AND COSTA RICA. UNFORTUNALY I HAVE TO FINISH PAYING THE DAMN THING OFF.

THIS IS REALLY COOL TO KNOW WHAT MY FELLOW SAILERS ARE SPENDING THE BEST TIMES AND MOST OF THEIR MONEY ON.

FULL PIC ON MY PROFILE.

KEEP THE BOTTOM DOWN,

Pearson 35

Pearson 35 "Wind Song" docked in Rock Hall, MD. This is my second Pearson 35 sold the other one 10 years ago, liked it so much that when I was able to come back I bought another.

Will mainly be cruising the Chesapeake possibly south to FL and the Gulf states when time allows. Actually I better make time allow as I'm no spring chicken.

Fair Winds

After a few more changes/additions she will be teaching me how to sail on the Queensland Coast and Whitsundays for the next year or two. Then ....... who knows!!

We have a Hartley 32 RORC, VIXEN, currently on the hard in Sydney Australia undergoing fitout.

Hull is ferro, would be interested in hearing from others with "floating footpaths"

Hope to have her back in the water next summer (southern hemisphere)
