Wiggers Nonsuch

Does anyone know if the Wiggers Nonsuch has a cored hull like the Hinterholler? Thanks!

Since Wiggers is building them custom as opposed to production like Hinterholler I would imagine you could get it built anyway you want. BTW I love my 1986 Nonsuch 30U since I bought it in 1995. Have not looked at another boat since.

Currently in the Northeast U.S. but, the boat was based in the Pacific Northwest before my purchase.

Already looked at one and passed due to some condition issues. Not very well maintained...wood molding, lots of restorative work required, etc.

Not much can go wrong with them since it has an unstayed mast. One of the things that sold me on it was I sailed with a Marine architect who also delivered a few of them who told me the simplicity of the design and construction impressed him. Look for excessive non factory drilled holes in the mast. Aluminium water tanks may need to be replaced at some point though mine are still original. Engine as on any used boat should get a good going over. Though I converted mine to electric propulsion seven years ago and never looked back. The boat though considered a coastal cruisers is pretty tough. The book Without Rival chronicles one Nonsuch that sailed across the Atlantic was abandoned off the Azores on the return and the boat drifted and ended up in South America where the owner retrieved it and is still sailing today.

Not mine. The only way my boat will be sold is at an estate sale when I am no longer around to object.
