Want to show off your “trailer-able” boat?

Here is why I ask. I am in the market for one. Been reading and looking for a few months. Can’t decide on any one particular boat. Some requirements...
- will be used for cruising coastal waters, need room and amenities, good functional galley, hot water, shower...
- ramp launchable
- at least 6ft cabin headroom
- shoal draft, 4 ft or less
- tow without permits

My dilemma.... some boats that are on my short list, I haven’t seen. Dana 24. Nor’sea 27. Ericson 25. Etc. Would like to lay eyes on some of these. Im retired military with a flexible schedule. Will be in VA the next few days. Then headed west. If you have something that fits the bill, I’d love to visit with you. I’m not looking for people that want to sell their boats, although that would be OK, I’m looking for an opportunity to look over a particular model of boat without having to drive 1000 miles to look at a particular one that is for sale. I hope that makes sense.

Cheers y’all!

Re: Want to show off your “trailer-able” boat?

I went down the same path. I was not impressed with what I found. So I built a trailerable cat ketch cruiser, 26 feet, draws 5.5 feet with the centerboard down, 14" centerboard up. The two masts are on tabernacles making raising and lowering very easy. There interior is simple accommodations for two. 6'4" headroom, king size length bunk, simple galley with oven.

This boat has been all over the Chesapeake and the Carolina sounds. It tows easily. If you are interested in looking PM me. The boat is in Virginia, and might be available to sell.

I have access only to a few pictures at the moment as I am out cruising now.
