SIEDLEMANN yachts

Does anyone know anything about SIEDLEMANN yachts? I'm just curious about this brand as I never heard of it till 2 weeks ago and can't find much on the internet, so i thought id ask yall. thanks.

Not the best boat made...Also very tender when sailing. Bob Seidleman is a good sailior and the boats he built were light. The 29 looks like a pumpkin seed and was very tender. Construction was not the best. The boat I sailed on would oil can if hit with any type of heavy waves. My advice is to steer away from these. There are PLENTY of better boats on the market..........

My father owned Hull #1 of the biggest one Bob made - I think a 37.

These boats are fine for lake or coastal sailing. Get a good survey. Bob was a great sailor (a good family friend) and a great sailmaker - our family has done very well with his sails, and Skip Moorehouse's sails (Skip bought the business). His sailboats were just not that great.

Actually, the sails were very good. Skip continues to provide a very nice product, and terrific customer service.
