Serious Storage in a 32 Footer!

Check out the stowage in a 32 footer.
Yes, It's a Wetsail 32.
The picture isn't mine.
My wife and I haven't dented using this space and we are full time liveaboards at anchor, granted we're a bit minimalist.
Looking forward to filling and not needing much from civilization for a year or more.

Also, I can sit comfortably (5'11" 210lbs) in the engine room and maintain and admire my boats systems.

There was a lot of stowage on my Ericson 32, I just couldn't remember where everything was, so I'd end up buying things I already had. Hope you are better organized than I.

Re: Serious Storage in a 32 Footer!

I had a 30-foot Angus Primrose flush-decked cutter with huge storage areas. It's the only boat I've ever owned with lockers down below that could swallow things like a full-sized liferaft, spare sails, and coolers. It even had cockpit lockers cleverly designed that drained into the cockpit and then overboard through the transom instead of into the boat, so I could store full-sized fuel jugs and propane tanks in there. I think lots of small lockers are over-rated for storage--give me huge lockers that can swallow big stuff, and then use storage containers to keep small things from getting lost. There is always some place you can stow a small thing, but there is almost never enough space for big things. The 30 footer also had the biggest chart table I've ever had, and underneath stowage for hundreds of charts.

I actually label my storage areas ... it looks anal, but I call it "padded room protection."
