Island Trader 41 and Formosa 41?

What's the relation if any between these boats?

I saw a IT41 center cockpit kettch at the docks today, it is a charter boat.

She looks sweet so naturally I start stalking the boat on the Internet but I'm not finding enough info to feed the sailboat obsession hunger.

Yankee Clipper 41, Porpoise are a couple more that are very similar. Try William Garden on sailboatdata.com for some comparisons.
I don't care for center cockpits but that's just a personal preference. Most of these designs are aft cockpit.

YANKEE CLIPPER, Formosa 41, CT 41, SEA WOLF 41, SEA TIGER 41 all very similar and probably made from the same mold. I almost bought a Sea Tiger 41 once, loved the layout down below. I believe the Formosa and the Sea Tiger have the coachroof that is notched down in the center. Watch the early ones, the cabins are rotten plywood on most all of them if hasnt been rebuilt. Some of the later ones actually had glass cabins/coachroofs...
