Dehler 34

Does anyone have any experience with these boats that can give me an opinion?

It has a cored hull which I think is great as long as it doesn't get wet.

There's one for sale near here.

There were 1200 of these boats built so there must be something good about them even though they do have an iron keel

There were a few of them in Finland and I remember people appreciating the build quality and sailing performance of them.

The brand is a part of HanseYachts now, but those 80-90s boats are the ones I remember.

Has anyone heard of problems with the coring below the water line?

A mate owns a Dehler 34 in S France. Been sailing her for many decades in all kinds of weather including 4 day passages.

They are fast as you see in the crash demonstration video in an early post.

Nice looking too.

We have been sailing the dehler 34 around the pacific and we loved it. Perfect split between speed sportiness and comfort. We have been the smallest yacht all the time but not the slowest
