Deep Water Cruising a 1988 Morgan Classic

Since I am new to owning a 1988 Morgan Classic. I would like to hear from anyone who has actively cruised one. My plan is to outfit and sail to the Philippines where my wife would like to retire. I have a few years to do so but would like to hear from other Morgan owners.
