Cheoy Lee Teak Cabin sides...

As I shop for a boat I see some of the Cheoy Lee offshore 28, 31, and 33's have teak cabin sides, and some appear to be just fiberglass.

Was the teak cabin sides an upgrade option? Or have the owners just glassed or painted over them later?

Is this teak applied as a veneer to the glass structure? (Something that could be reapplied?) or will the detail around the windows and where it meets the glass cabin top screw this up?

I'd really love to get one with the teak sides, but find most are white, presumably glass.

Wondering if I need to hold out or the real deal wood sides, or if its just a simple matter of stripping or replacing with some elbow grease.

Thanks for any insight...
